Benefits of a NAPS Membership

As Postpartum Doulas we support women and families through the transformation that a new baby brings to a family. When you join NAPS you will enter a supportive community of sister Doulas, dedicated to educating and nurturing each other in our roles as Postpartum Doulas. As a NAPS member some of the benefits that you will receive are:

Naps Newsletter- "The Fourth Trimester" is packed with information and a great way to stay connected with the NAPS community.

Doula Community Support- Join our on-line Doula community where you can receive helpful reminders for NAPS events, ask questions and get support from your sister doulas.

Continuing Postpartum Doula Education- NAPS offers several educational opportunities throughout the year to enhance your Doula practice.

Increased Visibility- NAPS makes it a priority to increase the visibility of Postpartum Doulas in the local community as well as on a national level.

Professional Credibility- When you become a Certified NAPS Doula you give your doula practice the added credibility of being certified by a trusted local Postpartum Doula Organization.

Community Resources- Gain access to a compilation of resources within our community where you can find anything from baby massage to the newest pump parts.

Connection to the broader Doula Community- Through NAPS you will become connected to sister Doula organizations in the local area and the world over.

Client Referral Service- As a Certified NAPS Doula, you can take advantage of the NAPS referral service to connect with clients in your area.
